[Infostock Daily=Reporter Park Jeong-Do] KB Securities, NCsoft, and December & Company Asset Management have announced the launch of a joint venture to enter the artificial intelligence (AI) simple investment securities company.
According to KB Securities on the 7th, the three companies held a signing ceremony for the launch of the joint venture (JV) the previous day.
The joint venture will consist of KB Securities and NCsoft investing 30 billion won and a total of 60 billion won in December & Company, respectively. In the future, it will operate with a goal of 10 million subscribers and 10 trillion won in management assets.
December & Company currently provides 'Fint', an investment-based simple investment app, and is also seeking to acquire licenses for MyData (credit information management business) and investment trading and brokerage businesses.
The three companies plan to create AI Simple Investment Securities Co., Ltd., which combines their core competencies: financial investment (KB Securities), asset management platform technology (December & Company), and AI technology (NCsoft).
In the case of the existing gold investment industry, the core of the business is to provide appropriate product and asset management based on investment advice from private banker (PB) for customers. On the other hand, in the joint venture, RoboAdvisor conducts asset management, and AI PB provides asset management advice to provide differentiated services. It aims to provide asset management services for the public, not high-value asset owners.
Based on KB Securities'financial data and asset management know-how, the company will provide customized asset management services through ISSAC, an AI engine of December & Company, and ' Press', a simple investment platform, while NCsoft will develop an ' AI Pb' service that combines AI natural language processing technology to provide asset management integration services.
"Through the service of the joint corporation, customers will receive timely asset advice regardless of the size of their assets, and will be able to manage all assets easily and easily," said KB Securities.
The joint venture is currently preparing to apply for my data. In the future, it will expand to provide a full range of financial consulting not only to asset management but also to financial product recommendation, loans, insurance and expenditure management tailored to the life cycle of customers.
First, it will issue a dedicated prepaid-based card and provide active spending management services that are linked to consumption situations in real time. It also plans to serve as a "content hub"for financial life from consumption to savings and investment by linking surplus accumulated through expenditure management with various investment services such as purpose funding and retirement fund management.
KB Securities plans to work closely with Disember & Company and NCsoft as well as affiliates of KB Financial Group.
