[Infostock Daily=Reporter Park Jeong-Do] LG Electronics received a total of 10 awards at the International Design Excellence Awards 2020, a world-renowned design award, and was recognized for its outstanding design competitiveness.
According to LG Electronics on the 17th, cableless concept LED signage won the Bronze Award. The design was applied to recently released micro LED signage LG MAGNIT (Series LSAB) and LG LED Bloc (Series LSAA).
The cableless concept LED signage wirelessly sends and receives signal between the LED cabinet (the basic component of the LED signage in which the LED element sticks) and the cable is no need to be connected separately. It is easy to install and clean the back of the product because it can implement a large screen simply by attaching it like a Lego block.
LG OLED Gallery TV (model name OLED65GX) which reflects customer lifestyle changes received the main award. It is evaluated that it showed form factor innovation considering not only design such as image quality and work which is different in dimension but also space where customers install TV.
LG OLED Gallery TV has all the parts built into the main body, making the entire TV completely close to the wall, making it immersive and space-use. Following the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award, the award was awarded to all three design awards in the world, including this award.
The Gallery Design Sound Bar (model name GX), which perfectly matches LG OLED Gallery TV, also won the main prize. The thinnest part is only 19mm, which is more than half the thickness of its peer-level performance products, completing a luxurious yet neat design.
In addition to this, ▲ LG Signature All-In-One signage (series name LAAF), LG Puricare up and down water purifier (model name WD503AS), LG inverter heat pump water heater, and LG G8X ThinQ (domestic name LG V50S ThinQ) IDEA 2020 winner was named.
IDEA is considered one of the world's top three design awards, along with the Red Dot Design Award and the iF Design Award, for international design awards organized by the American Industrial Designers Association (IDSA). This year, more than 1,800 products were exhibited and competed.
