According to industries on the 4th, vice chairman Chung resigned as co-chairman of the hydrogen Council on the 28th of last month. Toyota chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada, the head of the Japanese industry, was appointed to replace him. Benois Portier, chairman of Air Liquid, a French industrial gas company that co-chaired Chung, served a second term.
Since taking office as co-chairman of the hydrogen Council in January last year, Chung has been active in promoting the hydrogen economy.
