[Infostock Daily = Reporter Kim Jong Hyo] The Korea Standards Association awarded the world's first artificial intelligence(AI) certification, 'AIPlus(AI+)', to domestic companies.
The Korea Standards Association held an AI+ certification ceremony at the Summer CEO Forum 'AI Korea' held at Lotte Hotel Jeju on the 30th. LG CNS, Autech Carrier, Commax, and The White Communications have been recognized for AI+ certification and AI-based product quality.
AI+ is a system that certifies the quality level of AI-related products based on objective quality evaluation model and quality management system international standard. The certification targets are software(SW), services, and information and communication technology(ICT) products with AI technology.
The association recently conducted product tests and on-site screenings for LG CNS, Autech Carrier, Commax, and The White Communications to establish a certification system for AI SW and product quality evaluation. The certification service is officially provided from the 1st of next month.
In addition, with SW test company Wisestone, it have launched a working council to secure AI+ certification credibility and trust. It has promoted various business cooperations, including the establishment of an AI certification system and the AI Quality Research Forum. The association will carry out the entire process and on-site screening as an AI+ certification body in the future. Wisestone takes the certification test.
