[Infostock Daily= Reporter Lee Hyong-Jin] Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. has launched research and development to solve the problem of noise between floors of houses and introduced a floor-specific design to reduce the impact sound.
According to Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. on 3rd, a floor structure was developed that can detect noise between floors in 3-Layers. The company has designed the construction method by analyzing the impact pattern of adults and children's footsteps on the floor, and applied for the patent by successfully reducing the weight impact sound compared to the buffer structure using the existing 60mm sound insulator.
This technology is a filter-type method that filters out noise between floors by stacking three layers on a concrete slab, which is the basic frame of the apartment floor. Compared to the existing method, the mortar layers of materials made by mixing cement and sand were placed in two layers and constructed twice as thick.
In case of noise between floors, the mortar layer for the crack prevention which is the cement finishing material most built in the upside absorbs the impact sound to the first and prevents cracking. The mortar layer for vibration absorption, just below, then absorbs the noise and floor vibration in a secondary. At the bottom, a high-performance buffer produced by a technology partnership with Germany's BASF will be adhered to concrete slabs, which will absorb resonance and noise for the last time.
Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. explained that by constructing the mortar floor divided into two layers, it will secure enough the thickness of finishing mortar and the smoothness of the floor, which is the finish mortar level and smoothing of the floor, and the floor heating performance is improved. Performance verification of this technology was completed at the demonstration laboratory of LH Housing Performance Research and Development Center.
